I have this issue where in the values I show using a switch measure, some have the correct decimal and thousand separator, and others which I used a ROUND() function on don't.
In this case, the first row is calculated as follows:
metrics = 2 && selected_column_1 = "ETC", [ETC Costs],
metrics = 2 && selected_column_1 = "Planned", [FRC Total costs],
metrics = 2 && selected_column_1 = "Δ ETC vs PFE", ROUND([Δ ETC vs PFE],2) & " (" & delta_etc_pfe_perc & ")",
Is it possible that the ROUND() function has somethign to do here? Although I don't understand why it shows the right decimal separator, but not the thousand separator. In my Regional Settings, they are set as follows:
So the ideal would be to have those values formatted as having dots (.) as thousands separator and comma (,) as decimals separator. I have tried switching regional language in windows already, but this doesn't solve it
Hi @ale_BI ,
According to the formula which you provide below, it will return the values with Text type when applied the function ROUND(). It might be the cause of problem...
metrics = 2 && selected_column_1 = "Δ ETC vs PFE", ROUND([Δ ETC vs PFE],2) & " (" & delta_etc_pfe_perc & ")",
Could you please provide some raw data in your table (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:
