I’m encountering a persistent issue when trying to create a Date table in Power BI. Even when starting with a blank report and using the latest version of Power BI Desktop, I’m receiving the following error:
*"The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted into a single scalar value."*
Here’s the DAX code I’m using:
```DAX
DateDimension =
ADDCOLUMNS(
CALENDAR(DATE(2023, 1, 1), TODAY()),
"Year", YEAR([Date]),
"Month", MONTH([Date]),
"MonthName", FORMAT([Date], "MMMM"),
"Day", DAY([Date]),
"Quarter", QUARTER([Date]),
"Weekday", WEEKDAY([Date], 2),
"WeekdayName", FORMAT([Date], "dddd"),
"IsWeekend", IF(WEEKDAY([Date], 2) >= 6, TRUE, FALSE)
)
```
I’ve tried renaming columns and tables, ensuring there are no conflicting names, and even creating a new Power BI file, but the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
