Identify changing row values - alternating row colours grouping

Hi All

A user wants a table with some repeating information to display alternating background colours to show they belong to the same ID.

Basically I want each row to check if the ID is the same as the previous row and if not, change colour for that row. Is there a way to use DAX to get a result of either a 1 or 0,  and then I can use conditional formatting with that.

Example data:

Desired:

Apologies if this has been dealt with previously - I've spend some time searching these forums and i may not be using the correct search terms. I'm fairly new to DAX and it feels like i'm jumping into the deep end with this!

Amazing that after posting this, the forum suggested this as a solution:

Solved: Re: Alternate row colour after 7 rows/after each n... - Microsoft Power BI Community

EvenOdd = IF(ISEVEN(RANKX(ALLSELECTED('Table'),CALCULATE(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[ID])),,ASC,Dense)) = TRUE(),1,0)
