Hello,
I have one very simple measure that I have followed in other posts. With this measure, I want to remove the count for the 2nd hierarchy. I would like to count the number of related case for a parent case and show this only on the first hierarchy, which is the parent case. Currently, the measure only eliminates the total. I've read other posts and possible solution but nothing is working, not quite sure why. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous
please use
Related Case =
IF (
NOT ISINSCOPE ( Query1[Related Case Number] ),
COUNT ( Query1[Parent Case Number] )
)
@Anonymous
Please take care of the hierarchy you are using in the calculation because [Parent Case Number] will be true in both the cases
Thank you for your response ribisht17. Unfortunately it didn't work. When the ISINSCOPE() is false, it shows only the total and blank for both the parent and related case.
Hi @Anonymous
please use
Related Case =
IF (
NOT ISINSCOPE ( Query1[Related Case Number] ),
COUNT ( Query1[Parent Case Number] )
)
This works perfectly. Thanks a lot tamerj1!
