Hi all,
Power BI newb here despearatly trying to get my head roudn all this. Trying to rebuild Excel sales report in PowerBI but there are a few manual calculations I'm struggling with and I'm hoping someone can help... Please!
- a calculation is needed that does "quantity"*-1805 IF column "x" is populated with a "Y" BUT not if the first 4 characters of the column "itemnumber" are "DISC", in which case no deduction should be made.
Any guidance here most welcome
Thanks
R
hi @ryanp1989
could you paste some sample data with expected result to help those who might be able to help you?
A few screenshots below. The table is what I'd like the end result to be but the -1805 next to discount should be zero as the itemnumber begins with "DISC".
