I need help converting a Tableau formula into a DAX formula.

I need help converting this Tableau formula into a DAX formula. The field name is "Uninsured Marketing Quantity" and within Power BI the table name is "mv_perfex".

IF STARTSWITH([Client Group],'UI') THEN [Quantity] ELSE NULL END

How about this :

IF (  LEFT (Table[Client Group], 2 )  = "UI", Table[Quantity], BLANK() )

@tackytechtom - I just created the following based on your response:

Uninsured Marketing Quantity = IF(LEFT(mv_perfex[clientgroup], 2) = "UI", mv_perfex[Marketing Quantity], BLANK())

However, I am getting the following error message:

<pi>A circular dependency was detected: mv_perfex[Uninsured Marketing Quantity], mv_perfex[Actual Premium With Time Designator], mv_perfex[Uninsured Marketing Quantity].</pi>

Any idea what is causing this and how to resolve it?

Is mv_perfex[Actual Premium With Time Designator] also a calculated column?

Can you give the relevant formula or a sample file pbix file for further research?
