I have a Table1 and in that I need to create a custom column, whose value will be selected value from the 'what if' paramter
I tried to create a Parameter Value column, by using the dax
Thanks in advance
You cannot do this. The idea of a calculated column is that it's real data, and that means it doesn't respond directly to user input.
SELECTEDVALUE returns the parameter value only if one value is selected, but in a calculated column it sees all values, so it's only logical that you get blank values.
Instead, you should write a measure that does what you need.
As per business requirements we want it in a column. Is there any way to do it or it is not at all possible?
@Anonymous please add this as a measure not column
