How to hide values when expanding subcategories in Matrix

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to hide values of a column as we expand a matrix? Here's what my matrix looks like, I trying to hide the 100%:

MBisceglia_1-1646432534665.png

This is obviusly because if the measure I created ("Vacancy Rate") is only accounting the rows in which status="Vacant". Here's my measure:

Vacancy Rate = DIVIDE(COUNTROWS(FILTER(Table,Table[Status]="Vacant")),COUNTROWS(Table))
Maybe the solution is to modify the DAX for the measure.

Thanks in advance,

Michelle

Hi:

Can you try

Vacancy Rate
var  VR =DIVIDE(COUNTROWS(FILTER(Table,Table[Status]="Vacant")),COUNTROWS(Table))
return
CALCULATE(VR, Table[Department] <> "vacant")

var __vacancy =
DIVIDE(
    COUNTROWS( FILTER( Table, Table[Status] = "Vacant" ) ),
    COUNTROWS( Table ),0
)
return if(__vacancy<1,__vacancy)

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

Thanks! this worked!

Hi:

Can you try

Vacancy Rate
var  VR =DIVIDE(COUNTROWS(FILTER(Table,Table[Status]="Vacant")),COUNTROWS(Table))
return
CALCULATE(VR, Table[Department] <> "vacant")

How would that formula look like if the row label was not always showing "vacant" but was another field instead in a secondary expandable row (so not a value of department)?

Hmm this didn't work, but thanks anyways!
