Hi ,
I have the table visual wher Price and Last Updated Date are measures and I have "Out Of Date" Slicer. Upon clicing on out of date slicer the below table should reflect only those Id rows where the Last updated date is not more than 365 days.
I know I can achive this by applying visual level filter where last udpated is not blank but I would like to know is there any other way around we acheive this only thourgh Dax and not applying any filter on the visual.
ID | Country | Price | Last Updated Date |
1 | Algeria | 100 | Feb-23 |
2 | Belgium | Mar-23 | |
3 | Canada | 237 | Jan-20 |
Thanks in Advance!
Hello @as1195 ,
Can you please try this:
1. Create a New Calculated Table
FilteredTable =
FILTER(
YourOriginalTable,
DATEDIFF(YourOriginalTable[Last Updated Date], TODAY(), DAY) <= 365
)
2. Use the New Calculated Table in Your Visual
3. Configure the "Out Of Date" Slicer: Make sure your "Out Of Date" slicer is correctly configured to filter the "FilteredTable" based on your slicer selections.
Should you require further details or information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Hi Sahir,
Thank You for the reply.
I cannot use the filter function here as it replicates the whole target table with the condition.The example which I provided earlier was just sample but in real time I have a very big fact table and also the table in visualization included other Dax measures also
