How to group or bucket in power bi

Hello,

I am looking to group or bucket all the below customer sizes not P1-P5 into the "unknown" bucket.

When I click two or more customer sizes and right click the "group" button is grayed out. Is this because my data source is a sales cube so I can not edit? Does any know why the group button is grayed out or know a dax measure to use instead of group button?

I don't need to create hierarchy or pivot style drill down, just need to only have P1-P5 customers displayed.

The feature (grouping/binning) does not work with any live connection to PowerBI/SSAS semantic models and in PowerBI Service - only in thick reports in PowerBI Desktop - so it is pretty much useless for any enterprise reporting. Please cosider upvoting the feature: Microsoft Idea and here: Microsoft Idea

If what the above says does not work, it must be due to the data source.

Thanks for the reply but the group button is still grayed out. WOuld this be able to be solved by using DAX?

If you can create DAX on top of your data source, then yes. I'm saying this because the source could be an SSAS server and this has measures already defined in it... so not sure if you can still create new when you pull data from it through a Live Connection.

Yes I can create a new measure using my live connection.  Do you which type of function I would need to use?

Yeah... but measures won't give you anything in this case because you cannot put a value of a measure in a slicer. You have to have a table. Can you create calculated tables in your model? Such a table will then be disconnected from any other table and you'll have to write a lot of DAX to handle this.
