Hi,
I have this data modal implemented so far.
I need to have two drop downs where selection of one drop down shortens the second drop down values. One I select a project name from the second dropdown it need to figure out the Version number of the latest release of the selected project. I could get it work up to this point by adding two slicers and below measure.
Latest Release Name = CALCULATE(MAX(test_execution_summary[Version]), FILTER(test_execution_summary, test_execution_summary[Executed On] = MAX(test_execution_summary[Executed On])))
Rest of the calculations are based on the records filtered with this latest release name. If I can get some help to decide what should I do next in order to filter my data set based on the slicer value selection and this latest release value filtered, it would be a great help.
I am totally new to Power BI and still trying to get my head wrapped around how things work.

That is a job for your data model. The first slicer must be fed by a column in the same table as the second slicer, or a column in a parent table.
