How to fetch data of different BUs through a slicer

Hi,

A Toy making company has different Business units (BU) making toys. Each BU is supplied the toy vending Plant from a different Vendor and the Raw material suppliers are also different. Each RM Vendor has different brands of RM which are supplied to the Toy company. The PBIX file has the details entered.

Required:

As shown in the report view of the file, a slicer is needed such that when a specific BU is selected, its Total Cost per toy is displayed on the Card. The total cost should include installation cost of the plant+TOTAL RM used (in each specific BU and considering the different costs of the different RM brands ) and it should be divided by the cumulative number of toys on the last day of production for each specific BU.

Example:

  In BU-L Total Cost per toy = [1,800,000 +(1970 * 1500) + (1959* 1600) + (1485*1700) + (987* 1800)]/ 255,976

   = $ 47.6

The DAX for the above queries is requested and guidance is also needed for checking whether the data model is correct or it can be optimized further?

Thanks alot for your time 🙂
