Dear All,
Year | Pecentage of Reduction | Errors | Reduction Target |
2022 | 2% | 1200 | |
2023 | 2% | 1176 | 24 |
I have the table show above. Values for year 2022 are given as it is the baseline value. We need to find out the forecasted errors based on the % of reduction. For example for year 2023:
Reduction Target = [Percentage of Reduction for Year 2023] * [Error from Year 2022]
Error for Year 2023 = [Error from Year 2022] - [Reduction Target]
So basically I'll need to populate the errors and reduction target columns for Year 2023 to lets say next 10 years. Can anyone help out with the dax formulas please?
Hi Mahesh, I'm unable to share my PBIX file here. I've uploaded it in wetransfer here ; https://we.tl/t-w9NJJ5NIWq
We basically need to calculate the forecasted number of errors for Year 2023 - 2030. Example shown below for Year 2023:
Year 2023 = Number of Error [Year 2022] - Error Reduction Target [Year 2023]
Error Reduction Target [Year 2023] = Number of Error [Year 2022] * Percentage of Reduction [Year 2023]
For Year 2024, it'll be as below:
Year 2024 = Number of Error [Year 2023] - Error Reduction Target [Year 2024]
Error Reduction Target [Year 2024] = Number of Error [Year 2023] * Percentage of Reduction [Year 2024]
This will continue for all the years until 2030
Hi @Mahesh0016 ,
This is the output anticipated for Year 2023 - 2030, assuming constant reduction % every year and we started with a baseline error of 1200 for year 2022.
