There seems to be a lot of tutorials and responses to finding maximum values for dates, but none that I can find to fit my specific need.
Table = TestTable
Including columns:
Team
Date
Payment
(there are more, but for all intents and purposes, these will suffice)
I also have a Measure that does a calculation returning a currency value. Let's call it, [Amount Measure].
I'm trying to return the single highest daily amount of that [Amount Measure] for each Team. Is there a DAX formula that can accomplish this?

I switched the VALUES portion to ALLSELECTED instead, and that seemed to fix things. Thanks for the assist!
Sorry my mistake. It should be MAXX not MAX
MAXX (
VALUES ( testable[Date] ),
[Amount Measure]
)

Hi @JustSayJoe
if you are slicing by team, simply try
MAX (
VALUES ( testable[Date] ),
[Amount Measure]
)
I received the following error when trying this.
"Calculation error in measure. A table of multiple values was supplied where a single value was expected."
I switched the VALUES portion to ALLSELECTED instead, and that seemed to fix things. Thanks for the assist!
Sorry my mistake. It should be MAXX not MAX
MAXX (
VALUES ( testable[Date] ),
[Amount Measure]
)
