Hi, I ask for help to understand if it is possible to hide a row without updating the column total within a matrix. In the example below for each region I have the sales value split into comparable and not comparable. I would like to see the same table without the not comparable entry but with the total of the region that has the sum of the two values. In column Y-1, where I enter the difference between current year and previous year sales, I should format the background in green or red if the total column of the region is positive or negative.

You can write a measure formula with an if statement to check the current status and only summary the records which have the status 'comparable'.
formula =
VAR currStatus =
SELECTEDVALUE ( Table[Status] )
RETURN
IF ( currStatus <> "not comparable", SUM ( Table[Amount] ) )
