Hi Expert, How can I resolve a problem with a Power BI slicer or custom slicer?

Even after configuring the slicer to display values from 1 to 5 and applying a filter to exclude 0, the issue persists, showing the value for 0 when I select 1. Please note that using a page-level or visualization filter to exclude 0 is not a suitable solution in this scenario.
Data:

Visual: Slicer with matrix, Exclude 0 from slicer

when slicer make it to 1 still showing value for 0.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Thanks in advanced

Hi @Anonymous The solution provided, which includes a visual-level filter, is not suitable for my situation.

Hi @Dangar332
Thank you for your response. The client has requested that I convert null values to zero. I need to include zero due to other data dependencies. The issue arises when using a slicer; when it's set to "tile," the output is perfect, but when changed to "between," a problem occurs. Is there a possible solution to exclude zero from the slicer? Please refer to the attached PBIX file for more details.

Hi @Omesh ,

About your problem, I think you use filter on this visual, like this:

vheqmsft_2-1701163148534.png

To achieve your goal, I think you can follow these steps:

Here are my test data:

vheqmsft_3-1701163161940.png

1.Choose slicer visual in visualizations pane

vheqmsft_4-1701163180202.png

2.Drag row column to slicer filed

3.Configure filter on this page

4.Final output:

I hope this solution will help you ,if not ,please provide more conditions that you met this situation, or provide .pbix file.
