I can't share the file as I'm working with production analysis services tabular, but I'll try to demonstrate my problem with pictures.
Very basic fact table with dimension key, date (related to calendar table) and values.
Basically what I need is to sum all values only from the very first occurrence of any given year and then have the results of said first day spread for the rest of the year. Only the first fact dates per year matters.
Calculated columns or tables are not really the most desired options here, as the row count is quite substantial for that.

Measure = TOTALYTD(CALCULATE(SUM('Fact'[Value]);STARTOFYEAR('Fact'[Date]));'Calendar'[Date])
