Help with a COUNT Query

HI there,

I need assistance in writing this basic query I am trying to do. I tried IF statements and COUNTROWS but nothing seems to work. Here is what I am trying to do: Count all rows in this column (Lead Appraisers) with a start date of >= than 07/01/2023. Seems fairly simple but I am not sure why it doesnt work. I tried this:

Appraisr_Indicator_C = IF('Table'[Start Date]=09/17/2018,1,0)

Then I was just going to do a count on this created field but have been unsuccessful.

Thank you so much,
Lovella

Hi @Lsh0576 for calculated column you can use

Appraisr_Indicator_C =
VAR _SelectedDate=DATE("2018","7","19")
    RETURN
    IF('Date'[Date]=_SelectedDate,1,0)

If you need measure you could use
CALCULATE(
          COUNTROWS(<your table>),

Appraisr_Indicator_C =1
)
*PART =1 could be "1" depending on your column data type
I hope this help

That worked perfectly. Thank you so much! 🙂
