Help with DAX code

Hi  I have the table above and need to right an DAX if statement to checf if the early number in [Projected + 250 SMU] is greater than. 

 

For example is 5838 > 7522 if yes "check" if no "dont check", then is 5658>5838 if yes "check" if no "dont check".

You need an index column for that so that you definitely know what "earlier"  actually means.  Is the  MachineNo field usable for that purpose?

in your measure:

 

- create a variable a that holds the current context machineno (via MAX() or SELECTEDVALUE() etc. )

- create a variable b to calculate the largest machineno that is smaller than your variable a

- calculate and return the "projected + 250" for that filter b.

@lbendlin Yes [machineno] could be used as an index.
