Help in creating a summary table for a Power BI Paginated Report using DAX.

Hello Everyone!
I have two tables CodeMaster and LogDetails , as an outcome, i have to show all the values from CodeMaster for each EnginID irrespective of LogDetails Value

You could try to create a new table.

Table = ADDCOLUMNS( GENERATE(VALUES('Log'[EngineID]),VALUES('Code'[CodeID])),
           "CodeDesc",CALCULATE(MAX('Code'[CodeDesc]),FILTER('Code',[CodeID]=EARLIER('Code'[CodeID]))),
           "Total Value", CALCULATE(SUM('Log'[Value]),FILTER('Log',[LCodeID]=EARLIER('Code'[CodeID])&&[EngineID]=EARLIER('Log'[EngineID]))))

The final output is shown below:

@YogiGuru , if there two tables are joined and you are using power bi dataset, you should be able to selected choice of your column

 

In DAX you have naturalinnerjoin
