Thank you so much @VahidDM . This sounds like it will work if I can figure out how to write the SUMMARIZE part of the measure.
The if statement uses measures, so I'm not sure what table and column I should use in the SUMMARIZE function. Again, here is my measure:

In SUMX add only "[CYTotalGrossRevenue] * [PY%Pd] - [CYTotalPd]" then filter those less than 0.
