Hello,
I need some help to get the latest date from one column based on a value from another column.
let's say I have a table like this:
| ID_NAME | NAME | DATE_1 (day.month.year) | DATE_2 (day.month.year) |
| 1 | Anna | 1.2.2020 | 5.8.2020 |
| 1 | Anna | 6.8.2021 | 19.1.2022 |
| 1 | Anna | 20.1.2022 | |
| 2 | Bill | 7.4.2022 | 31.12.2022 |
| 2 | Bill | 1.1.2023 | |
| 3 | Jason | 22.5.2019 | 7.9.2020 |
| 3 | Jason | 8.9.2020 | 29.12.2020 |
| 3 | Jason | 30.12.2020 | 4.10.2022 |
| 3 | Jason | 5.10.2022 | |
| 4 | Chloe | 17.10.2022 | 17.10.2023 |
Now I need to make a measure or filter or something that will single out the latest date (DATE_1) for every person (ID_NAME).
My table/visual would then look like this:
| ID_NAME | NAME | DATE_1 (day.month.year) | DATE_2 (day.month.year) |
| 1 | Anna | 20.1.2022 | |
| 2 | Bill | 1.1.2023 | |
| 3 | Jason | 5.10.2022 | |
| 4 | Chloe | 17.10.2022 | 17.10.2023 |
How can I achieve this? Please and thank you!
Kind regards,
L
