Get Value on Latest date only in date range selected via slicer

I am trying to use a slicer to return the start and end value of a portfolio. I have created measures to pick up the start date and end date selected.

However, I can't pick up only the portfolio value at the end date only.

My first try was

ENDPV = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[PV]),FILTER(Table1,Table1[Date] == [EndDate]))

However, this didn't seem to work. EndDate gave me the right date when i displayed it on the page, but when I used it in a formula, it's just taken both dates selected (StartDate and EndDate) and added them together.

Do you know how to fix this so that I can isolate the Starting Value and Ending Value? I need to report each separately so I can show how the portfolio value has changed over the selected time period

@AHoang , if this coming from a date calendar then you can these two var to get first and last date

measure 2 =
VAR _min = MINX( allselected('Calendar') , 'Calendar'[Date] )
VAR _max = MAXX(allselected('Calendar') , 'Calendar'[Date] )
RETURN

<use in calculation >
