Filtering text and ALL for date

Hi,

I would like to get SUM for particular parts and keep it in CARD regardless of selection of month or year.

dogbural_0-1660806399823.png

Part Usage = calculate(abs(sum('Table1'[Qty])),filter('Table1',FIND("AA-",'Table1'[Product],,0)<>0))

Above is working, filtering only "AA-".
However, I cannot get it working for date. I tried below but does not work as in SUM value keeps changing.

Part Usage = calculate(abs(sum('Table1'[Qty])),filter('Table1',FIND("AA-",'Table1'[Product],,0)<>0), ALL(Table1[Date]))

Please advise the right Dax I need to use.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but could you please try writing the below measure whether it suits your requirement?

Part Usage =
CALCULATE (
    ABS ( SUM ( 'Table1'[Qty] ) ),
    FILTER ( ALL ( 'Table1' ), FIND ( "AA-", 'Table1'[Product],, 0 ) <> 0 )
)

If this post helps, then please consider accepting it as the solution to help other members find it faster, and give a big thumbs up.
