FORMAT() is not working with direct query. What to do?

I try this, but it give me my month in alphabetic orderL April, August, .......

Month = switch(month('table'[date]),
1, "January",
2, "February",
3, "March",
4, "April",
5, "May",
6, "June",
7, "July",
8, "August",
9, "September",
10, "October",
11, "November",
12, "December"

@game1 , Create two columns in you table , if you don not have already

Month Name =  format([Date], "MMMM")

Month Sort =  Month([Date])

Select the first column, go to column tools and use Sort by column and use Month Sort
