Exact match or the next larger item.

Hello,

I have a column with date values. I would like to compare it to five more columns with date values.
If there is an exact match, I would like to write the title of this column into an according row of a newly created column.

If none is found, I would like to return the next smaller item.

In other words, I would like to use -1 match mode of xlookup function in Excel.
