Dynamically Changing Y Axis Range

I have a combo chart that aggregates data from 174 business units. When I click on one of those business units, I would like the chart's range to reflect what I have selected instead of remaining static and looking grayed out. I'm sure I'm going to have to use parameters, just not sure how to set this up.
