Dynamic Quarterly Metrics

I looking to calculate several different quarterly metrics to use in other forecasting calculations. My skillset stops at pretty much PREVIOUSQUARTER(). Any help on the attached metrics would be great. I am building this into a data model that pulls sales and booking values from SalesForce by different segments. I'd like to have this accessible with the CUBE functions where the historical data is tracked based on renewal dates or closed dates.

This is helpful. Going to attempt to work thru some of these.

I don't understand the Qtr Rank field in the Calendar Table though

it says it should be RANKX( ALL('Date'), 'Date'[Start Of Qtr],,ASC,Dense) 

This won't work as it violates the formula argument for the 2nd argument as an expression.
