Determine Employee work time by month given a start and end date and FTE Assi

Hello,

I am trying to calculate a few project related statistics.

I have multiple employees working across multiple projects.  Multiple employee can work on the same project and each employee can have multiple projects.

Given the project name, employee start date, employee stop date, employee effort, and employee name how do I calculate the following:

1) Amount of time spent on a given project by month

2) Amount of time expended by a given employee by month

Kind Regards,

HD

For first question try below measure.
Create one column which tell the current month of project and use this in summerize measure else you can check the month in dax only.

Measure=Sumx(summerize(table,table[projectname],month(table[startdate],table[efforts]),table[efforts])

For second question, just replace projectname column with employee name in above measure.

Thanks and regards
