Does anyone know what Dax template is used to explain Allexcept function here:@ https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/allexcept-function-dax
i can see that some functions use probably the old template.

As far as I know, ALLEXCEPT() function will return a table with all filters removed except for the filters on the specified columns.
Here I create a sample to help you understand the function.
You can compare below measures which are created by ALL/ALLEXCEPT/ALLSELECTED. They will return similar results in my sample.
ALLEXCEPT =
CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Value]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[Region]))ALL =
CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Value]),FILTER(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Region] = MAX('Table'[Region])))ALLSELECTED = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Value]),ALLSELECTED('Table'[Category]))
Result is as below.
The logic of above measures are all suming based on region group.
