Dax Dates question

Hello   My date table (tblCalendar) is calculated between the min and max dates in another table. The Max date is 28/October/2022 (today). I created 2 measures , a YTD count and a ThisTimeLastYear ...
help needed

    Does your date table contain full years? Eg 1 Jan to 31 Dec? Also is it marked as a date table?
