Dateadd in power BI

Converting the tableau convertion in power BI.

DATEADD('day', -1,[Calendar day])

For Example: if the date is "1/1/2022" after substracting by -1 the result should be 31/12/2022.

This is possible in Tableau

But in power BI for dateadd

Column 3 = DATEADD(Merge1[Calendar day],-1,DAY)

it becomes blank

How do I get the result of tableau in power BI

If the date is 1/1/2023 then the result should be 12/31/2022

Help in this is needed.

do it like:
Column 3 = Merge1[Calendar day]-1
