Hi
I have created a date table and added custom columns, but when creating relationships between a completed jobs and open jobs tables to the date table the data returned is completely wrong and I've no idea why? For some reason my date table relationship seems wrong even when using calendar auto().
Ive set the date coloumn to short date in all three tables but it not working and returnign wrong data.
any idea what could be wrong?
Greetings,
Thank you for such a speedy reply, I believe I fixed the issue, but ensuring the date formats used to in the date columns to create relationships between the Datetable and the completed and open jobs tables are the same...This seems to have corrected the issue I had.
I had to open the transform tab (rather than just change the formats in the table tabl of the project), this seems odd but seems to have worked.
Hi @MrDaX
May I check if this issue has been resolved? If not, Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Thank you
Not odd as a date/time is a decimal number like 44,771.55 while a date is an integer nr like 44,711 so the data type matters
If this helped, please consider giving kudos and mark as a solution

What do you mean the data is worn?
What are the columns you connected?
Please include, in a usable format, not an image, a small set of rows for each of the tables involved in your request and show the data model in a picture, so that we can import the tables in Power BI and reproduce the data model. The subset of rows you provide, even is just a subset of the original tables, must cover your issue or question completely. Do not include sensitive information and do not include anything that is unrelated to the issue or question. Please show the expected outcome based on the sample data you provided and make sure, in case you show a Power BI visual, to clarify the columns used in the grouping sections of the visual.
