I work for insurance company and we have agroinsurance as part of portfolio. My task is to identify damage percentage of claims in months and subcategories like villages etc. I made a measure (claims/profit) and it does the job in yearly overview but when I choose august for example, I want august claims to be divided by all years profit, but it cuts profit to august aswell and the result I'm getting is august claims divided by august profit and thats not what I want. What I want is that whatever month I choose it has to be divided by that years total profit.

Hi @GiTchitchinadze ,
I created some data:
Here are the steps you can follow:
1. Create measure.
Measure =
var _selectyear=SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Date].[Year])
var _selectmonth=SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Date].[Month])
var _claims=CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[claims]),FILTER(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date].[Year]=_selectyear&&'Table'[Date].[Month]=_selectmonth))
var _profit=CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[profit]),FILTER(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date].[Year]=_selectyear))
return
DIVIDE(_claims,_profit)
2. Result:

Liu Yang
