Hello community,
I would like to declare my variable "Year". This variable will take the year filtered by the user. How can I manage it please?
As an example, the user filters the visual on 2021, then my variable " VAR Year= 2021", if the filter is 2020 then "VAR Year =2020" etc.
Please can you help me
THank you

Hello @Anonymous
If you are assuming a single year will be filtered, then you can write:
VAR Year = SELECTEDVALUE ( SomeTable[Year] )
SELECTEDVALUE will return the value of Year if a single value is visible, otherwise BLANK.
You can specify a default value as the second argument of SELECTEDVALUE.
Does this work in your situation?
