Apply filter Selection on a dimension instead of measure

Hi All,

Does anyone know how I can enforce filter selection on a dimension?

Currently, I have this view on a table:

I want to lock the status using a card for each respective state. One for AO and One for EO. This is what I want to achieve.

However, the value changes depending on the filter selection.

Normally I would use

KPI - (AO) = CALCULATE([Status],'State'[State]="AO")

KPI - (EO) = CALCULATE([Status],'State'[State]="EO")

I guess because [Status] is not a measure, but a dimension, it does not allow me to use "calculate" function.

Please Help

Cheers,

Kev

@BigKev , Try like

KPI - (AO) = CALCULATE(max([Status]),'State'[State]="AO")

KPI - (EO) = CALCULATE(max([Status]),'State'[State]="EO")
