Hi,
I have a slicer that has 3 metrics, average, total and volume and this filters a table that has a measure which using a SWITCH function will either show average values, total values or volumes.
The AVG and Total are displayed in currency and the volume is in general number which I achieve by adding in the FORMAT function to the measure.
The issue I have is that when I use the FORMAT function in my measure it does not allow me to use conditional formatting which I want so I an add in data bars. If I remove the FORMAt function then the data bars work but then I either have to have everything in currency or in general number!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ben

@Ben81 , Format means text, and that will not allow you to this measure a number.
You can use calculation groups, there you can have different format for measures

Hi @Ben81 ,
The FORMAT function converts a value to text according to the specified format.
In the measure tools directly select a currency format or a general format.
If you use the FORMAT function, you'll get a text format.
