DAX formula filtered by Selected Value Slicer ?

Hi there,

I have created the below measure which is calculating previous forecast and is directing to my previous report indexed as -1 in RelativeMonth. However, I now want to be able to go back to any previous report and not only the most recent indexed as -1.

Is it possible to add a slicer for "ReportingMonth" and update my measure to calculate based on the "ReportingMonth" Selected?

new forecast previous measure = CALCULATE(
    SUM('3503 Working Data'[Month Value]),
    '3503 Working Data'[Baseline / Forecast]="Forecast",
    '3503 Working Data'[RelativeMonth]=-1)

Hi,

I am not sure how your semantic model looks like, but if you have a sort order column for ReportingMonth, please try something like below whether it suits your requirement.

new forecast previous measure =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( '3503 Working Data'[Month Value] ),
    '3503 Working Data'[Baseline / Forecast] = "Forecast",
    OFFSET (
        -1,
        ALL (
            '3503 Working Data'[ReportingMonth],
            '3503 Working Data'[ReportingMonthSortOrder]
        ),
        ORDERBY ( '3503 Working Data'[ReportingMonthSortOrder], ASC )
    )
)
