DAX for calculated column based on number of characters

Hi,

Can you please help writing DAX for the below senerio.

I have Column called 'C1' in T1 table. I want to create a new column called 'C2' in the same (T1) table based on length of the data in C1.

For example. column C1 is having data with character lenght between 8 to 25.

If length of C1 is > 8 characters, then it is 'Apple' in 'C2' column, if the length of C1 is lower than 8 charcters, it is Banana in 'C2' column.

[C2] = // calculated column
var CurrentDataLength = len( T1[C1] )
return
    switch( true(),
        CurrentDataLength > 8, "Apple",
        CurrentDataLength < 8, "Banana",

        // If CurrentDataLength = 8,
        // according to the algorithm
        // you've described, it should
        // return BLANK.
        BLANK()
