DAX Statement: Conditional

This is my first post for help as I am relativley new to PowerBI! Hoping this maybe a quick fix?

Test =
IF(
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)] ,
"On-Time" ,
IF(
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] > '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)] ,
"Late" ,
IF(
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= DATE(TODAY(), && '00_Master Schedule'[Stage 1: Design Upload] = "Not Released" , "Overdue"
))))

@Anonymous , Better to use Switch

Test =
SWitch( True(),
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)] ,
"On-Time" ,
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] > '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)] ,
"Late" ,
'00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= TODAY() && '00_Master Schedule'[Stage 1: Design Upload] = "Not Released"
, "Overdue"
)

@Anonymous ,

Try this:
Test =
IF (
    '00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)],
    "On-Time",
    IF (
        '00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] > '00_Master Schedule'[Asite Export Master.Date (WET)],
        "Late",
        IF (
            AND (
                '00_Master Schedule'[Design release date for Works Information] <= TODAY (),
                '00_Master Schedule'[Stage 1: Design Upload] = "Not Released"
            ),
            "Overdue"
        )
    )
)

You used function DATE(TODAY()), but date function expects these parameters: year, month, day so it results in error.
