DAX RLS formula

What would be a DAX formula for the case, when people, who have an email, could see the data belonging to their email, whereas,
those people with no email, could see all the available data?

Hi @surv03

Create two roles

  • Admin (Don't add any Dax)
  • Reader ( Table[Email] = USERPRINCIPALNAME() )
  • Upload your report

Go to the Dataset

  • Click on the 3 dots
  • Security
  • Add the people who should have Admin Access to the Admin role and then Save
  • Repeat for the reader role.

Ideally you should have Dynamic Security groups in Azure, so you don't have to manually add people to roles

For RLS to work, None should have any access to the Workspace where the report is stored.

Joe
