I am still very new to DAX, but I have a table where I need to create a DAX measure to count the values from the Values column if the Origin Column equals 4 specific locations. And then another measure to count the values if the same origin column does not equal those first 4 locations.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
hi, @Mbryanton
try below measure for specific 4 location
4specific location measure=
calculate(
count(tablename[value]),
tablename[origin column] in {"location1","location2","location3","location4"}
)
not equal those first 4 locations
4specific location measure=
calculate(
count(tablename[value]),
not(tablename[origin column]) in {"location1","location2","location3","location4"}
)
It doesnt seem to be adding up the values correctly when doing a check against the two measures. Could COUNT be the wrong function to apply? maybe it should be SUMX
