Hello,
I am finding a formula to put two different names into specific name.
Example, i have many material/ part number such as D176, D176-1000,D176-10DD
I want to use only D176 instead of D176, D176-1000,D176-10DD.
How to put a DAX formula of it?
Thanks and Regards,
Ei
Hi @Eiei,
If D176-XXXX is the only pattern, you could adapt the proposed DAX solution for a similar problem from here - Removing text after character or between character... - Microsoft Power BI Community - to your needs.
Like this:
Split = LEFT( 'Table'[Value], SEARCH( "-", 'Table'[Value], 1, LEN ( 'Table'[Value] ) + 1 ) - 1 )Best Regards,
Alexander
