Hello All,
I have a question regarding DAX Functions: I have tried to search for a function that simply gets data from another table (without changing it) and places it in my DAX Table. However, I cannot seem to find one. At the momment I am just using the "SUM" function, but it is just a temporary solution, as it seems to be changing my data.
Does anyone know of any functions that would simply allow me to enter the table and column that I would like to use in my DAX Table?
Appreciate the help!
@Wadi-Luca
It depends on the DAX function and where you are calling your table. Based on the context, the column values will be materialized. When you access a table in a calculated column or in a measure, it produces different results, in addition, it can change if you use context modifiers like CALCULATE or CALCUALTETABLE.
To access a column from a table as it is : SELECTCOLUMNS function should help you
