Hello All,
I want to find out the cumulative sum without a date field and have attached the data for your reference. Could you please share the dax for cummulative sum?
Hi @Neel98
Add an Index column to your table in Power Query
Use this if you want a total amount
Running Total =
VAR _tableIndex = MAX('Table'[Index])
//Var _Area = MAX('Table'[Area])
var _calc = Calculate(SUM('Table'[Quanity]),FILTER(ALL('Table'), 'Table'[Index]<=_tableIndex))
//Var _calcArea = Calculate(SUM('Table'[Quanity]),FILTER(ALL('Table'), 'Table'[Index]<=_tableIndex && 'Table'[Area]=_Area))
return _calc
Use this if you want a running total that is for each area.
Running Total Area =
VAR _tableIndex = MAX('Table'[Index])
Var _Area = MAX('Table'[Area])
var _calc = Calculate(SUM('Table'[Quanity]),FILTER(ALL('Table'), 'Table'[Index]<=_tableIndex))
Var _calcArea = Calculate(SUM('Table'[Quanity]),FILTER(ALL('Table'), 'Table'[Index]<=_tableIndex && 'Table'[Area]=_Area))
return _calcArea

Hi @Neel98 ,
Would you please give us more details? Do you wish the cumulative QTY based on all the rows, or on the material or area?
