Hi,
We have a report in which the customer wants to see 5 months before the selected yearmonth, the selected month and the 6 month after the selected yearmonth.
In essence we want to build our own relative date slicer.
There are many solutions in which rolling measures are calculated, but we want to limit the months shown in the report.
I have seen solutions with a seperate date dable in which the fact is filtered based on the dates.
We are workind with id's and not dates in the facts ánd we are working on SSAS Tabular model which limits options within PowerBI iteself.
Any one have any suggestions how to solve this problem?
@Anonymous,
Is it possible to add a date table to your SSAS Tabular model?
Are you saying that the fact table has an id such as 20201105 (yyyymmdd)?

Hi,
We have a dataetable in our Tabular model and yes the fact table has id's.
The datetable is used in a filter to specify a month for all the other visuals, but this one visual should show 5 months prior to chosen date, chosen date and 6 months after chosen date.
