Creating a variable that is filtered by multiple selected slicer values

Hi,

I'm working with some financial data and I have a slicer to select the Quarter. I have one measure that can see the value selected and it works perfectly, but I need to modify it to also allow for multiple quarters. I was thinking that it can take the selected value and store it into a variable that could act like a list, then use that variable in something like below:

RELATED(DIM_DATE[Date].[Date]) IN {slicer values}

Do I need to look at this in a different way? Thanks!
