Create slicer based on DAX

Hi everyone,

Can you help me on the slicer issue I had with my report? How do I create slicer based on measure below? The issue I had is for example when I select Loyal in the slicer, the column is not just showing Loyal category, it also shows other category as well.

Thanks in advance!

Category Measure_ =
SWITCH(
    TRUE(),
    [Category Sum of Years]=BLANK() || [Category Sum of Years] = 0,"Former & Non-Purchasing",
    [Category Sum of Years]=1 && [YR2023] = 1, "New",
    [Category Sum of Years]=1 || [Category Sum of Years]=2, "Transient",
    [Category Sum of Years]=5,"Loyal",
    [Category Sum of Years]>=3 || [Category Sum of Years]<=4, "Potentially Loyal")

Hi,

Here is one way to do this:

1. Add a new table with categories (used as a slicer):

2. Add a secondary measure:

Filter measure (category) = IF(OR( MAX('Table (6)'[Column1])=[Category Measure_],not(ISFILTERED('Table (6)'[Column1]))),1,0)

3. Place the measure as a filter like this:

End result:
