Count products sold for previous months per sales agent

Hi All,

I have two dax measures to count the total products sold per agent for MTD-1) (MTD-2). The measures work very well but the table visual takes ages to load for 4000+ sales agents. Is there perhaps a more efficent way to construct these measures? I've tried all the other std time intelignce options and the ones below are the only ones that return the desired result.

Count of Products Sold MTD (-1) = CALCULATE (

count('Products'[Product ID]),

PARALLELPERIOD('Products'[Date],-1,MONTH))-

CALCULATE (

count('Products'[Product ID]),

PARALLELPERIOD('Products'[Date],-2,MONTH))

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Count of Products Sold MTD (-2) = CALCULATE (

count('Products'[Product ID]),

PARALLELPERIOD('Products'[Date],-2,MONTH))-

CALCULATE (

count('Products'[Product ID]),

PARALLELPERIOD('Products'[Date],-3,MONTH))
---------------------------------------------------------------------

@Richard146 your dax fomulat doesn't look like. parallelperiod functions 1st argument suppose to be <dates> but your first argument is ProductId.

Thanks Parry. I sanitised the dax before posting and made an error. I have fixed the original post.
