Count number of items with growth

Screenshot 2024-02-22 140030.png

I have done the Month Over Month Calculation, Year Over Year Calculation and I would like to have a card visual that counts the number of items where there is an increase from this table visual.

Hi, @moses07_ferns

Based on your description, I have created some measures to achieve the effect you are looking for. Following picture shows the effect of the display.

Measure:

MoM% =

VAR _prevValue =

    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Prev Month] )

VAR _curValue =

    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Cur Month] )

VAR _PreDivCur =

    CALCULATE ( DIVIDE ( _prevValue, _curValue ) )

VAR _CurDivPre =

    CALCULATE ( DIVIDE ( _curValue, _prevValue ) )

RETURN

    IF ( _curValue > _prevValue, _CurDivPre, - ( _PreDivCur ) )

DistinctCountSales =

Counts =

CALCULATE (

    DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'Table'[Cur Month] ),

    FILTER ( 'Table', [MoM%] > 0 )

)

Do a SUMMARIZE over the items in your table visual, then ADDCOLUMNS to materialize the "increase"  measure (whatever that is).  Then return the COUNTROWS of the filtered virtual table.
